I put this together today since some people were asking for Linux build. I tested this on OVH Ubuntu 16.04 2.1dotnet Framework & everything is connecting fine. You'll need MS .NET framework 2.1 for Linux, see documentation here. I put in Devkit data necessary to go online, a friend of mine tested it on another source, so you should be good to go. I don't take credit for Devkit or lasting data files, but do for this build. Really shouldn't need much instruction, just install required files. I suggest using "Screen" program before running listener, since a lot of VPS providers don't use GUI but CMD line.

Like xbox 360 profiles? I use this constantly. Not being able to download your profiles is a known Rgh issue. All I can tell you is to clear cache, delete old profiles, reset internet.
